Dr. Denis Mukwege becomes the Honorary President of our foundation

It is with great emotion and pleasure that we announce that Dr. Denis Mukege, the Nobel Peace Prize 2018, also known as “the man who mends women,” has agreed to be the Honorary President of our foundation for a 2-year term.

This gynecologist devoted his life to fighting against rape as a weapon of war. Since 1999, he has helped more than 54,000 women and girls victims of sexual violence at the Panzi Hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

We are very honored and touched by the support of Dr. Mukwege, which motivates us to go further in our humanitarian actions to improve maternal health.
